4th Avenue Flyover Construction Update
The 4th Avenue Flyover is well on its way to being completed later this year, with construction moving forward steadily and crews working hard to keep the project on track.
Here’s a quick look at what’s coming up next:
Calgarians can expect intermittent rolling lane closures (overnight only) of Memorial Drive, Edmonton Trail, and Riverfront Avenue beginning the week of March 10, 2025. The work will happen over a period of five weeks, beginning at the north end of the flyover, to remove the work platform on the right side of the bridge.
The impacts of these closures are anticipated to be minimal, however we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your continued patience.
Please also be advised that Enmax is performing important utility upgrades in the area in support of The City's Bridgeland Main Street project. This work is adjacent to the 4th Avenue Flyover project and will likely affect mobility throughout the area.
