Accepted items include: leaves, branches, plants, and grass clippings—just be sure to shake off any soil. Sod and food scraps are not permitted and should go in your green cart. If you have sod to drop off, it will require a basic sanitary rate charge. Commercial loads are subject to regular landfill fees and are not accepted at the Shepard facility. To avoid long wait times, consider visiting on weekdays or before 9 a.m. on Saturdays. Learn more.
