Residential Street Sweeping Begins April 14, 2025
It’s time for The City of Calgary’s annual Spring Clean-up program, which kicks off Monday, April 14. Residential street sweeping will run Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm, and continues through the end of June (weather permitting).
As sweepers make their way through communities, we’re asking Calgarians to help by moving vehicles off the road when signs are posted. Temporary parking bans will be in effect on scheduled sweeping days to allow our crews to do a thorough job—removing gravel, dust, and debris that’s built up over the winter.
How to Find Your Street Sweeping Date
Check your scheduled sweeping day by visiting calgary.ca/sweep. There, you can:
Look up your address to see your exact sweeping date.
Sign up for email or text reminders, so you never miss your community’s scheduled sweep.
You’ll also see signs go up in your neighbourhood a few days in advance, so keep an eye out and plan ahead.
Ward 9 Community Sweeping Schedule
*Indicates that the sweeping map is a 2-day duration and that sweeping occurs on the subsequent day as well. Residents in these communities are encouraged to check their home address at calgary.ca/sweep for exact dates.
Please note, these dates are subject to change. For the most current sweeping schedule, please visit calgary.ca/sweep.
Avoiding Tickets
Calgary Parking will be working alongside street sweeping crews to help enforce temporary parking bans. Vehicles left in place during sweeping hours may receive a ticket, so please plan ahead. Sweepers often make multiple passes, so it’s best to keep your vehicle off the street for the full day.
Let’s work together to make this year’s Spring Clean-up a success. For full details, visit calgary.ca/sweep or call 3-1-1 for more information.
