Winter Carnival in Inglewood

Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 10am – 5pm, join the Alexandra Centre Society, East Village Neighborhood Association, Kinkonauts Improv Theatre, Calgary Reads, Karen Scarlett, Inglewood Child Development Centre, and JazzYYC as they host their Winter Carnival Event!

Stop by and take part in an outdoor scavenger hunt, live music, food trucks, art activities, and special performances. There are also some great prizes to be won, including a family membership to the National Music Centre, a Deane House Gift Card, Calgary Hitmen Tickets, and book prizes from Calgary Reads (just to name a few!) All attendees will also be eligible for discounted admission to Fort Calgary.

Visitors are encouraged to contribute to a permanent musical fence installation. Help create a musical fence by bringing a 'noise maker' to donate to the installation - items such as old pots, pans, cookie sheets, wind chimes, hub caps, etc. can be donated, please just ensure there are no sharp edges on your pieces.

This is event is free and open to the public. All activities will be hosted outdoors on the Alexandra Centre premise (922 9 Avenue SE), Jack Long Park, Calgary Read’s Little Red Reading House, and on the east lawn at Fort Calgary.

We hope to see you there!
