March 26, 2020 | Transit and Transportation Update
Transit Service Changes
The Covid-19 pandemic has had significant impacts on ridership across Calgary Transit’s network and we will be reducing service over the coming weeks.
We know that our customers rely on our service and that any changes we make have major impacts on how you get where you need to go. With that in mind we are making these decisions very carefully and will provide additional information and updates as quickly as we can.
Many of our bus routes now have fewer trips throughout the day.
These bus routes will still be available, but you may experience longer wait times because a trip has been removed. We're doing our best to minimize the impacts these reductions will have, and to make sure you're still able to use transit to get where you need to go.
Please use the Plan a Trip or Next Ride features on calgarytransit.com for the most accurate schedules.
Beginning March 30, Ctrain service levels will be reduced.
Red Line
7 to 8-minute peak service
15-minute midday service
16-minute evening service
Blue Line
8-minute peak service
16-minute non-peak service
Weekend service will not change at this time for either line.

Green Line In-Person Events Cancelled
Following Alberta Health Services (AHS) direction on public gatherings and preventative measures for COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve cancelled our upcoming in-person events until further notice in accordance with AHS direction.
Provide your feedback online
We want to ensure you that while in-person events are cancelled, we are still collecting public feedback on the updated Stage 1 alignment. We want to ensure the project team and Council understand public sentiment regarding our proposed changes to Stage 1. We are committed to listen to community members and learn about their plans, views, issues, concerns and expectations.
Input received from in-person events and online will be summarized and shared with Council for consideration during their decision making in April. Online engagement will remain open until April 5.
