In 2020, Linda lost her son, Brian, to the devastating outcome of mental health and addiction struggles. Longtime supporters of The Mustard Seed, Linda and her family saw Ogden’s Hub 29 as the perfect place to honour Brian’s memory while giving back to the community.
More than just a coffee shop, Brian’s Café is a gathering place where people from all walks of life can connect over exceptional coffee, pastries, and a shared vision of hope and resilience. The café features a Giving Wall, a pay-it-forward initiative that allows customers to purchase food or beverages for those in need, fostering generosity and ensuring everyone has the chance to enjoy its offerings, regardless of their ability to pay. It’s more than a coffee shop—it’s a living tribute to community, compassion, and connection.
