Street Sweeping begins Monday, April 17th, 2023!

As we roll into spring, Calgarians are looking forward to clean streets in their neighbourhoods that are free of dirt and debris. Over the next few days, the first scheduled communities will see signs go up indicating their sweeping date, as the program begins on Monday, April 17. Residential street sweeping runs Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Calgarians can find their scheduled sweeping date by visiting calgary.ca/sweep, where they can use the address lookup. We also encourage all Calgarians to sign up for e-mail and text notification reminders.

Calgary Parking plays a key role in ensuring the program is a success. Camera-equipped cars help enforce temporary sweeping bans, but parking officers also validate these bans by verifying community signage is visible to residents ahead of time.
