Ward 9 Great Neighbourhoods Calgary – Gian-Carlo Carra

This is the official website for Gian-Carlo Carra, City Councillor for Ward 9 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

As we’ve done in years past, Team Ward 9 will be supporting the Mayor’s Annual Food Drive. With economic pressures making it challenging for many Calgarians to afford basic needs, The Calgary Food Bank continues to see record-breaking demand for food support.

From November 27 until December 8, 2024, City Council will be collecting non-perishable food donations and monetary contributions for The Calgary Food Bank. If you’re able, please give generously to help support our neighbors in need.

For every dollar donated, the Calgary Food Bank is able to distribute $3.50 worth of food.

Financial Donations

Donations of monetary funds can be made online HERE. This page will be live beginning Nov 27th until Dec 8, 2024.

Please note: Canada Helps is being used to facilitate online donations for this fundraiser. Once your donation is made, you will automatically receive a tax receipt from Canada Helps to your email inbox.
